Cassandra Linnea Auker is a painter and sculptor raised in Hawaii, California and Washington. She started painting at the age of five and has never stopped. Her first art award came in second grade at Kapa’a Elementary, in a statewide competition. After high school she deferred her first year of the Boston University Fine Art program to travel solo in Europe, to study art and work in Italy. Her year of independent exploration of Europe influenced her approach to art. She arrived with no skills in the Italian language, and found a love of learning foreign languages. A few years later she toured India for a few months, learning of their culture, history and rich arts traditions. Independent study of the arts led her later to Brazil, other parts of Europe, Canada, and much of the U.S. 

 She settled for over a decade in the SF Bay Area. Active in the theater, arts and Latin dance scene. She immersed herself in the unique urban experience that has drawn so many artists. There she participated in art exhibits in SF and Oakland. Cassandra also enjoyed working in the busy home staging field, often creating custom commissions for projects. A reality TV pilot about home staging n SF was even produced from her treatment, alas it was not picked up by networks.
A passion for interior decor has been with her ever since. Creating works for the unique spaces of corporate and private clients is a challenge she loves. Along with the arts, Cassandra pursued the study of philosophy, metaphysics and world religions. She became certified as Hypnotherapist and earned a BA in Metaphysical Philosophy.
While she still travels the US regularly, her art studio is located deep in a pristine forest in Southern Oregon.

Cassandra is available for commissions and will often donate work to charitable auction.
